CMPAC has taken a firm stand against the ongoing aggression in Rafah, where innocent lives are at stake due to Israel’s invasion. We urge the Muslim Liberal Parliamentary Caucus (“Muslim Caucus”) to issue a resolute public statement condemning this aggression and demanding an end to the military operation in Gaza and the West Bank.
The dire situation in Rafah, with over 1 million displaced civilians and a daily loss of more than 100 lives, underscores the unfolding humanitarian catastrophe. We are deeply concerned by the lack of unity within the Muslim Caucus in addressing this crisis. It is crucial for the Muslim Caucus to present a united front that truly represents the perspectives of Canadian Muslims.
