The Liberal government is rushing to end debate on Bill C-9, and it could be finalized as early as next week.
If adopted, the Justice Committee will have just one final meeting to vote on the remaining provisions including the removal of the “good-faith” religious-text defence without further debate. The bill could then move immediately to report stage, third reading, and the Senate.
We need ALL hands on deck. Call and email your MPs NOW and demand they reject Bill C-9 in its current form.
