CMPAC has released a new analysis examining the intersection between Amnesty International Canada’s Human Rights Agenda 2026 and CMPAC’s ongoing advocacy priorities.

The report highlights areas of overlap on issues including Bill C-9, Bill C-12, Bill C-22, protest rights, immigration policy, digital regulation, Charter protections, and accountability under international law. It also explores Amnesty’s broader concerns regarding the expansion of state powers, shrinking civic space, and the need for stronger human rights safeguards in Canadian law and policy.
