On March 25th, 2026, Bill C-9 passed third reading in the House of Commons and is now before the Senate for review. The bill has been referred to the Standing Senate Committee on Human Rights, where senators have the power to study the bill in detail and propose amendments before any final decision is made.
As the bill is currently being reviewed by this committee, this is a critical moment to ensure senators hear directly from the public.
