Advocating for a Better Canada

fighting structural Islamophobia

About CMPAC

The Canadian Muslim Public Affairs Council fights structural Islamophobia by mobilizing communities, engaging decision makers, and influencing public policy. We are a non-profit organization that works through community engagement, advocacy, and political lobbying. Our work is research backed and community driven. We equip community members to advocate for structural change. We fight the battles that nobody else will, and we’re in it for the long haul, together.

What We Do

Research & Policy

Our comprehensive reserach informs the policy proposals that we put forward to address issues at their root.

Community Engagement

We work collaboratively with other community organizations, and by engaging grassroots volunteers.

Capacity Building

We help build the community skills and networks needed for our volunteers to become effective change makers.

Lobbying & Advocacy

Equipped with our research based policy proposals, we bring community members and allies together to effectively lobby decision makers for structural change.
